Him pulling his castle down from Asgardia for them to live was great. I also liked seeing Thor's love for Broxton and it's people. I really enjoyed Roz and her relationship with Thor. The Roxxon story was better, but still not as good as God butcher. I think it's mostly just set up for The War of The Realms event going on right now. The Malekith story following God Butcher/Godbomb wasn't nearly as interesting to me, but I though it was still a fun little romp. This run really gave me a totally new perspective on Thor and I’d honestly call him my favorite Avenger now. In fact, I was routinely stunned by Thor’s heroism, compassion, and genuine love for the earth and the human race across the series. Seeing Thor just going around visiting/helping people around the world was just amazing. That one panel where Old King Thor tells him "You'll never be the son he wants you to be" really tugged at my heartstrings. He's arrogant and brash, but you can clearly see that his behavior stems from his own insecurities about being worthy of Mjolnir and him proving himself to Odin. Also, Thor’s Granddaughters were cool characters. I love that he actually challenged Thor (Thors?) mentally as well as physically, with Thor struggling with how problematic some gods can/could be. Gorr, to me anyway, was a great villain with understandable (though not justifiable) motives and goals. The structure was really cool with the jumping between King, Avenger, and Young Thor and it really made it feel like and actual epic myth. The God-Butcher arc is probably one of my favorite marvel stories ever. He's nice enough in the movies and the recent films have fleshed him out more, but he's never seemed like a super essential character to me. So, I've never really been a big Thor fan.
